The chiller, circulating water pumps, and all connecting pipes in the machine room are rigidly fixed to the building structure, including the floor, roof, and walls.
The equipment relies solely on conventional rubber pads for vibration isolation, which proves insufficient during normal operation. As a result, vibrations are transmitted through the building structure to upper-floor tenants, leading to frequent complaints about vibration and noise.

Based on the site layout, each point requiring vibration isolation measures was identified and numbered, resulting in a total of 51 nodes in the plan.
The plan primarily covers:
2 screw chillers
6 air-conditioning water circulating pumps
2 plate heat vertical water pumps
The remaining nodes consist of pipeline support points, all of which are included in the vibration isolation scheme.

Screw Chillers
Each of the two screw chillers is fitted with a spring shock absorber on both the inner and outer sides of all four support vertical plates, ensuring that the vertical plates are fully separated from the foundation by 30–50 mm.
Pumps
A vibration damping pedestal with a spring damper is installed beneath each pump.
The pedestal weight is designed to be 1.0–1.5 times the weight of the pump.
The bolt holes of the shock absorber feet are positioned at least 10 cm away from the edge of the waterproof foundation.
Vertical Water Pumps in Plate Heat Exchanger Units
Each vertical water pump is installed on a vibration damping pedestal to ensure effective isolation and reduce vibration transmission.
